About Baritec

Many architects and builders are frustrated by having to use flexible flashing tapes due to a lack of other viable options on the market. It's a common view that while flashing tapes "do the job" adequately when installed correctly, all too often the precise installation conditions are not adhered to and failure can result. The Baritec system was designed, tested and BRANZ appraised with the specific aim to provide a superior, advanced subsill flashing system.

Baritec is owned by Tredsafe, a local NZ manufacturer of flooring accessory products.

Baritec is headed by system inventor Alan Leitner, with over 20 years of construction experience, both hands-on as a builder and commercial window installer, and at the architectural specification stage as a technical manager.
